Welcome to my poker site I hope you enjoy what we have here. Obviously there are a lot of other poker sites out there so we know that we are going to have to do something to really standout. We believe that we have done this by building a site that is focused on helping the average player to become better. Mainly this will be done by following my journey to improve my game.
This site is built around my interest in the game of poker, in particular my attempt to become a better player. By no means am I one of the greatest players in the world but I am working hard to improve my game.
The hope is that by sharing what I learn you can become a better player as well.
I firmly believe that it is easier to learn from other people who are trying to learn themselves than it is from an expert. At the very least I hope that this site will help you to become a better player.
In addition to playing poker I am also a fan of the game. I watch the major tournaments in the hopes of picking up some lessons from the top players. As a result a big part of this site will be dedicated to paying attention to what the pros are doing. I do this both because I know that like me many people are interested in the subject and because there is something to be learned from it. Therefore I hope you enjoy that part of the site and that you actually are able to learn from it.
A big part of playing poker is for the fun of it and in order to do that you need to find the best places to play the game. Therefore part of this site will focus on things like the best casinos to play in as well as the best cities for the game and things like that. Generally anything that will make your playing experience more enjoyable will be covered on this site we want you to enjoy the game so that even if you aren't winning as much as you would like to be at least you can have some fun.
The primary focus of this site is going to be on live games but we are well aware of the huge popularity of online poker. As a result we have had to pay attention to it. Therefore we have a section of this site that is dedicated to online poker. It is pretty clear that the way that the online game is played is different from the live game but there is obviously still a lot that you can learn from playing online. For that reason we strongly recommend that you start to play online poker if for no other reason than the opportunity to practice.
